Responsible Use of Credit Cards

Proper credit management will save you money. Keep your house in order by monitoring your spending and borrowing.

Establish good credit.  Once you have paid off your outstanding credit card charges, your goal should be to pay off the balance each and every month.  Use of your credit cards should typically be limited to monthly budgeted expenses. A good step toward getting out of debt is to cut up some of your credit cards. Consider keeping one credit card that requires you to pay the outstanding balance in full each month.
